The Helm Personal Injury Law Firm’s attorney is Steven Helm.  Steven was a pre-medical student and was certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).  He understands injuries and what goes on at an accident scene, during the treatment process, and the residual effects of injuries.

Steven has been practicing personal injury litigation since 1991 and has successfully tried hundreds of cases throughout Virginia. 

The firm began in 1999 after practicing several years with a Richmond personal injury firm.  He was also hired by a large Roanoke personal injury firm as their primary litigator.  He left that firm to begin Helm & Helm, P. C. in February, 1999.  He has run this firm ever since.

Our approach to practicing law is very personal.  As a client, you can expect to speak to an attorney when you call.  If not, someone will return your phone call within 4 business hours.  We teach clients about insurance and the laws that affect their claim.  This allows clients to make educated decisions about their case and to proceed with integrity and success.
